FAST marking fifth season as IMCA sponsor with Modified, Late Model, Stock Car awards

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – FAST marks an IMCA sponsorship milestone in 2021, giving awards to drivers in three divisions for a fifth consecutive season.

The Memphis, Tenn., high performance parts manufacturer and a brand of the Edelbrock Group gives ignition boxes to national Modified, Late Model and Stock Car rookies of the year and $100 product certificates to the other Modified and Stock Car drivers earning top regional rookie awards.

Sixth through 10th place drivers in Late Model national standings also receive $100 gift certificates.

“Grassroots racers are our customers. Through this program, we are able to work with a lot of drivers who build their own engines and with a lot of engine builders,” said Billy Carroll, contingency coordinator for the Edelbrock Group. “We’re also able to work with drivers and builders in divisions that allow for spec engines so we are able to reach a lot of drivers geographically and in different divisions.”

All FAST awards will be presented during the national banquet this fall or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office. The Leader in Fuel Air Spark Technology, FAST manufactures ignition components, as well as intake manifolds, throttle bodies and other EFI components.

“The FAST program is a natural fit, especially with the transition of the Edelbrock brand as well,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder. “Working with Billy and his team has been great and we look forward to a long relationship.”
