Intercomp continues IMCA Modified, Stock Car support for 27th season

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – One of the most familiar names in the dirt racing industry continues its support of IMCA Modified and IMCA Sunoco Stock Car drivers again this season.

Twenty-seven year sponsor Intercomp gives $100 certificates applicable toward the purchase of RFX wireless scales or digital chassis setup equipment, to designated finishers at 30 selected Modified special events, and to top 10 drivers in both EQ Cylinder Heads Northern and Southern regions for the Stock Cars.

“Intercomp is proud to support the IMCA and its drivers, which features some of the best racing and racers at all of the different IMCA sanctioned events,” said General Manager of Marketing Aaron Van Heel. “Seeing Intercomp Scales and Racing Products help IMCA racers run faster lap times or get in the winner’s circle is why we do what we do.”

The Minneapolis, Minn., company is the manufacturer of The Official Scales of IMCA and also returns to the national decal program for Stock Cars for an 18th consecutive year.

All drivers in that division are required to display two Intercomp logos on their race car to become eligible for national and regional point fund shares.

Certificates for Modified racers will be mailed within a week after special event results are received at the IMCA home office. Stock Car certificates will be presented during the national awards banquet in November.

Champions crowned at the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and RaceSaver Nationals, race of champions winners and the All-Star Invitational winners all receive digital angle gauges.

“Intercomp has supported IMCA racing in one capacity or another for an incredible 27 seasons. We are thrilled to continue this sponsorship again this year and use their weighing technology at some of the most marquee events in IMCA racing,” said IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder.
