WELLINGTON, Kan. – BSB Manufacturing began a second decade of sponsorship by renewing a contingency awards program benefitting IMCA drivers in six divisions and the Deery Brothers Summer Series.
The Wellington, Kan., high performance parts manufacturer will again give more than $10,000 in product certificates to IMCA Modified, IMCA Late Model, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod competitors.
Product certificates valued at $300, $200 and $100 go to top three eligible drivers in each Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock region, and in national standings for Northern SportMods and Southern SportMods.
Drivers in those divisions must compete with four BSB-manufactured shocks, display two BSB decals on their race car and return a completed signup form to the IMCA home office by Aug. 1.
Designated place finishers at 30 Modified, 18 Late Model, 15 Stock Car, 15 SportMod and 12 Hobby Stock specials all receive $50 product certificates.
Top three drivers in the Deery Series for IMCA Late Models receive product certificates worth $250, $200 and $150, respectively.
BSB Manufacturing also returns as title sponsor of the Northern SportMod Race of Champions during the IMCA Speedway Motors Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s and will provide a portion of the $1,000 purse to be paid for that race. “Racing has been my life’s passion and what a better way to live life than to work for some of the best in racing,” said BSB’s Jay Neal. “IMCA and Super Nationals have provided some of the best racing I have ever seen and it is an honor to give back to the sport I love. I look forward to the next 11 years and what we can do together.
