CLEAR LAKE, Iowa – Drivers in IMCA’s North Central Region for Modifieds enjoy the support of Side Biter Chassis for a third consecutive season.
The Clear Lake, Iowa, chassis builder returns as title sponsor of the region encompassing tracks in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Saskatchewan, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Owned by veteran Modified driver Ryan Ruter, Side Biter provides a portion of the $6,000 point fund that will be paid to top 10 drivers in 2019 point standings for the region.
The champion of the Side Biter Chassis North Central Region earns $2,500, with $1,250 for second, $625 for third, $325 for fourth, $300 for fifth and $200 for sixth through 10th.
Drivers are required display two Side Biter decals on their race car to be eligible for point fund shares. Point fund checks will be presented during the national awards banquet in November, or mailed beginning the next week from the IMCA home office.

“The ebb and flow of IMCA Modified chassis builders is evident each season, but Side Biter has been solid in not only their results on the track, but in their commitment to title sponsorship of the North Central Region,” IMCA Marketing Director Kevin Yoder noted. “They build a winning car and we’re proud to work with them.”
