Edelbrock backs claim engine drivers in five IMCA divisions

TORRANCE, Calif. – Edelbrock rewards the accomplishments of IMCA drivers competing with claim engines for a 21^st consecutive season.

The Torrance, Calif., company gives product and product certificate awards to IMCA Modified, IMCA Sunoco Stock Car, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stock, Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMod and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMod drivers.

Highest finishing claim drivers in point standings for each of the five Modified regions again receive 2975 Victor Jr. intakes while top drivers in the two Stock Car regions receive Edelbrock 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes.

The highest finishing claim engine drivers in both Hobby Stock regions and in national Northern SportMod and Southern SportMod points have a choice between 2701, 7121 or 2176 intakes.

Second through fifth place claim engine drivers in each Modified, Stock Car and Hobby Stock region, and in national Northern and Southern SportMod standings all receive $50 product certificates.

Twenty-five dollar product certificates go to Modified and Stock Car regional rookies of the year.

All Edelbrock awards will be presented during the national banquet in November or mailed beginning the following week from the IMCA home office.

Czarneski conquers Stock Car feature at Casa Grande

The Denmark, Wisconsin driver delivered a stellar performance at Central Arizona Raceway, seizing the lead on lap nine and holding off all challengers to take the checkered flag. The race began with Jason Berg asserting himself as the early leader, setting a strong pace through the opening laps. Berkeley wins first career Winter Nationals feature in Stock Car action

The 2023 Winter Nationals champion faced several challenges throughout the race but ultimately fended off the advances of young Texan Cameron Starry. Despite the pressure, Berkeley maintained a consistent pace from start to finish. Starry attempted a few bold moves in the closing laps, but the leader, hailing from Colville, Washington, successfully held him off to clinch this significant win in EQ Cylinder Heads Southern Region action.
