VAN BUREN, Ark. – The company IMCA drivers have depended on for more than two decades returns in a pair of invaluable sponsorship roles this season.
Schoenfeld Headers, manufacturer of the Official Mufflers of IMCA, gives $50 product certificates to competitors at 80 designated special events for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Late Models, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, Karl Kustoms Northern SportMods and Smiley’s Racing Products Southern SportMods.
The 22-year IMCA sponsor is also part of the national decal program for Modifieds and drivers in that division must display two Schoenfeld decals on their race car to be eligible for shares of national and regional point funds.
All Schoenfeld certificates will be mailed within a week after official race results are received at the IMCA home office. Point fund checks will be distributed during the national awards banquet in November or mailed in December.
When required to run a noise reduction system of 98 decibels or more, Modified, Late Model, Stock Car and SportMod drivers must compete with one of the three official Schoenfeld mufflers. Based in Van Buren, Ark., and founded 47 years ago, Schoenfeld also manufactures headers and related exhaust components.
