Over twenty years ago he began to put that knowledge to use and created a revolutionary transmission for racing applications. The ground-breaking transmission that he developed is legal for IMCA competition. Never one to rest on his laurels, Herb continues to refine his transmission for the benefit of IMCA racers. This allows Brinn to ensure the highest quality, best possible product is available to the weekly dirt track racer at an affordable price. Additionally, he supports the sport with nearly $15,000 worth of non-contingent product certificates and merchandise yearly for IMCA participants.
Brinn Transmissions continues to support IMCA Modified special events, and when the 2009 season concludes they will have awarded 300 certificates and a free transmission this year alone.
